We are looking for an experienced Coffee Shop Manager passionate about coffee and customer experience. This position is for our brand new bakery and coffee shop on Old York Road, in the heart of Wandsworth, opening this autumn.Söderberg is a Scandinavian bakery and coffee shop company with presence in both Edinburgh and London. All of our sourdough bread and Scandinavian inspired cakes and pastries, including our signature cinnamon and cardamom buns are delivered daily from our bakery on Lordship Lane, East Dulwich. The ideal candidate should: Have at least 2 years experience as a Coffee Shop Manager in a busy and fast paced environment Have experience managing a team and running a smooth and efficient coffee program in a high level speciality coffee shop Be excited to lead a coffee program based around our unique Fika blend, designed in partnership with an Edinburgh based speciality roaster Appreciate the importance of excellent customer service and a happy team as that is at the heart of everything we do Have demonstrable experience of recruiting, training and motivating effective and high performing teams Be ambitious and have a drive to progress in the food and drink industry Be knowledgeable about the requirements of a busy cafe or restaurant, including health and safety/food hygiene regulations Use initiative to generate new ideas and strategies that will ensure the best possible customer experience Be fully accountable for the overall success of the siteThis role has ..... full job details .....
