1st Line Support Engineer

Wavenet .The successful candidate will be part of the Service Desk team who are the first point of contact for our customers, handling service desk cases and escalating when necessary. There will be hands-on experience in online security, networking, servers, firewall configuration, data handling, communications, and cloud services. Travel around London to support our customers may be required. The working patterns are Monday to Friday 0800-1630 and 0930-1800.If you want to further your career in a vibrant and fast-paced organisation, this might be the role for you.Responsibilities
Work within a technical helpdesk, providing support to circa 3000 UK schools.Remote network troubleshootingSupport a range of technologiesWork with custom products designed and developed in houseVoIP and WiFi solutionsCisco firewallsBackup and recovery solutionsMicrosoft 365 and Google Workspace environmentsQualifications
Background in providing IT supportExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal)General IT knowledge and understandingGood problem-solving skillsCapable of working independentlyTeam playerGood customer service skillsFlexible attitude and strong work ethicUnderstanding of networking and protocolsSeniority level
