Casual PositionHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the RoleAs a Casual Registered Nurse in the Emergency Mental Health Service (EMHS), you’ll play a critical role in providing responsive, 24/7 comprehensive assessment, diagnostic, planning and treatment services to individuals experiencing a mental health emergency.You will work in partnership with patients, their whanau, and a multidisciplinary team across both primary and secondary care settings.Availability to provide shift cover over 24-hour period 7 days a week. Ideally this would suit a person who has availability over these time frames.This is a dynamic and rewarding role requiring clinical confidence, compassion, cultural competence, and the ability to think quickly in complex situations.
