As a Registered Nurse in our Orthopaedic Ward, you will deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients undergoing acute and elective Orthopaedic treatment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include pre and post operative care, pain control, wound management and promoting mobility and independence.You will work in a dynamic multidisciplinary team that is focused on delivering excellent Orthopaedic care to the Hawkes Bay populationAbout the Team/Service/ Location

To be successful in the role, you will have the following skillsetA current NZ Registered Nurse Annual Practising CertificateRecent experience in an acute surgical/orthopaedic settingExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong therapeutic relationshipsStrong clinical assessment skills, with a focus on safe, evidence-based practiceA commitment to culturally safe care and an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles, with a desire to support equitable outcomes for MaoriA team-focused attitude and a passion for continuous improvement and professional developmentWorking at Health New Zealand
