As a Credit Controller you ll be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding debts, resolving queries, and ensuring payments are received promptly. This role is perfect for someone with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Credit Controller Responsibilities:Proactively contact customers by phone, email, and letter to collect overdue paymentsMonitor and manage customer accounts within the agreed credit limitsReconcile accounts and allocate incoming payments accuratelyInvestigate and resolve invoice and payment queriesPrepare and send monthly statements to clientsMaintain accurate records of all collection activityWork closely with the sales and finance teams to manage risk and prevent overdue debtEssential Skills and Experience:Proven experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or similar finance roleStrong negotiation and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenProficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)High level of accuracy and attention to detailWhat s on Offer?This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and ambitious business with a great team culture.
