About the Accounts Assistant Opportunity:PSR Solutions are partnering with a Main Contractor to recruit a permanent Accounts Assistant to join their Accounts department in Bromsgrove, on a part-time basis.This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a high-performing project team within a market-leading construction business. You''ll play an integral role in supporting project finance activities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring efficient and compliant financial operations across the project lifecycle.The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and eager to develop their career within a dynamic and supportive finance environment. Responsibilities:Purchase ledger control Open and distribute post / database Processing invoices / credit notesProcessing sub-contract applicationsKnowledge of Domestic Reverse ChargeDealing with Invoice and PO related queries / general accounts callsAdhoc payments runsMonthly supplier reconciliation and payment runWeekly / Monthly bank reconciliation and manual cash book entryWeekly / Monthly payroll and year end reports to Inland RevenueMonthly period close process / check to Trial BalanceConstruction Industry Scheme maintenance and monthly return / payment to Inland RevenueMonth end journalsChecking VAT and quarterly returnsMonthly auto enrolment pension report and paymentsGenerate Financial statements and project costingCo-ordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews What''s on Offer:Permanent ..... full job details .....
