At least 3 years'' working with either CCTV or Access Control systems is required.

A valid, clean driving licence is essential.

Valid ECS/FESS Card for site-based work.

The person will mainly work in and around the M25, with some locations further afield when needed.

The ideal candidate will be competent with a strong background in installing Access Control and CCTV systems.

Responsibilities

Install CCTV, access control, door entry, and security systems to specified standards.

Read job sheets, specifications, site plans, and participate in project meetings; prepare all necessary equipment to complete jobs.

Troubleshoot faults.

Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation.

Ensure all work complies with industry standards and regulations.

Participate in an on-call rota for emergency call-outs, one week in seven.

ExperienceProven experience as an Installation Engineer, with a strong background in integrating CCTV, access control, and door entry systems into cohesive security solutions, including network connectivity and configuration.

Knowledge of electrical principles and regulations for installing power supplies, transformers, and backup batteries, ensuring reliable operation and compliance.

Proficiency in configuring system settings, user permissions, and access levels using software or device interfaces.

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Good communication skills and customer interaction experience are essential.

Valid UK driving license is required.

Must have experience working with:

CCTV – Hikvision, Hanwha, Avigilon, EagleEye, Vista

Access Control – Paxton, ACT, Salto, Brivo, Gallagher

Door Entry – Fermax, BPT, Videx, 2N

Our overtime and Saturday work are paid at a premium rate; we also pay travel time. Sundays and public holidays are paid at double rate.
