Owing to continued growth, a leading equipment manufacturer has a new role for a Head of Planning to lead on Planning activities, enhance the planning strategy and oversee the Sales, Inventory, Operations and Planning processes. Managing and leading a team of 5, you will ensure production schedules and resource planning aligns with customer demand and manufacturing requirements. This will include leading on existing manufacturing and also introducing new products into manufacturing. You will oversee day-to-day planning activities, develop and maintain reliable and detailed production schedules and the Master Production Schedule (MPS). You will manage inventory policies and levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, coordinating with the Head of Supply Chain to ensure timely material availability. You will ensure ERP and MRP data accuracy, and lead on improvements in planning systems and technology adoption. Drawing on your management / leadership experience you will lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing planning team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability. As the senior planning interface, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Import/Export and Shipping to align plans with business objectives.
