About the Role:

An ambitious and inclusive secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking an inspirational English Teacher to join their well-established department. You will be part of a dynamic team that promotes critical thinking, creativity, and confidence in language skills for students from KS3 to KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5.

Key Responsibilities:

  Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons covering reading, writing, speaking, and listening

  Plan, prepare, and assess to meet the needs of all learners

  Foster a love of literature and develop analytical skills

  Track student progress and support their academic journey

  Contribute to departmental planning and wider school initiatives

Requirements:

• 
  

  QTS and a degree in English, English Literature, or a related subject

• 
  

  Strong curriculum knowledge and effective classroom management
