Learning Support Assistant
Affinity Workforce Solutions are working in partnership with a school in Bristol who are looking for a full- time learning support assistant to work with early years and KS1 classes.The successful candidate should have a level 2 or 3 EYFS qualification and have previous experience working with children. The individual must be compassionate, patient and kind, as well as being a positive role model to the children in these classes.The hours will be from 8:30am - 3:30pm. The roles are starting in the January Term in 2026 until the end of Summer term in July 2026.The successful applicant:Have a sound understanding of Primary EducationHave excellent literacy, Numeracy, and communication skillsHave confidence supporting the KS1 and KS2 curriculumHave experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculumWill be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humourHave experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties both in smalls groups and 1:1.Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
