Cala Homes (South Home Counties) Ltd are looking for a Technical Coordinator to be part of the team. Reporting directly to a Senior Technical Manager within the Technical Department, you will be working closely with all disciplines across the business to ensure that new developments are designed accurately and value-engineered appropriately to ensure our sites are built out efficiently and cost effectively. Further to this, you will assist in managing appointed consultants (incl. architectural and engineering, highways and sustainability/energy consultants) to prepare working drawings/specifications etc. to an agreed programme, discharge NHBC Building Control conditions, attend project team meetings, design team meetings and other meetings as required. Experience in managing the flow of detailed and accurate design information to our internal customers, on time and to a set budget is pre-requisite of this role.About You

A background in either Architecture or Engineering, or having held a similar role in another Housing Developer, candidates must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding on the technical details of residential construction. You will have experience of working with and managing consultant teams of Architects and Engineers, as well as other external consultants to deliver a continuous supply of technical information. You will be self-motivated, dedicated, and hard-working as well as a strategic thinker, strong decision maker and an excellent ambassador for the company. As this is a varied and deadline-driven position, you must be reliable and flexible and able to act on your own initiative. You should be self-motivated and pro-active in your approach to your work.
