Senior Control Systems EngineerA growing engineering and technology business based in High Wycombe is seeking a talented Control Systems Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, research-driven environment developing and supporting bespoke high-tech equipment used in advanced material applications.The role offers a broad range of responsibilities, from maintaining and developing control systems software to supporting production and contributing to RandD initiatives.Key Responsibilities of Senior Control System Engineer:Maintain and update existing PC-based softwareMaintain and support PLC software (Mitsubishi preferred)Assist in the creation of system schematics and interlock designsEnsure safety and reliability of system controlsCreate and manage documentation for all software changesProvide fault-finding and technical troubleshooting supportCollaborate with the sales team on technical mattersWork alongside test and installation teams to ensure FAT documentation is up to dateContribute to RandD and new product development activitiesRequirements of the Senior Control System Engineer:Degree in engineering or science (or equivalent industry experience)Experience with industrial control software and electronicsFamiliarity with PC software development (VB.net preferred)PLC programming experience (ideally Mitsubishi)Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated with a proactive and positive approachDesirable ..... full job details .....
