About the Role:

• Support students with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) in their day-to-day learning
• Encourage student engagement and help build key life and academic skills
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Work closely with teachers and staff to monitor progress and personalise learning support

The ideal candidate will:

• A calm, empathetic, and supportive approach, with a strong commitment to helping students thrive
• A genuine passion for working with children who have additional needs
• Previous experience in education or supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) is advantageous
• Awareness of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) is beneficial, though not essential
• Confident working both collaboratively within a team and independently when required
