Our client is a well-known and reputable HGV fleet company with many depots nationwide. Currently they are looking for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic to join their busy depot. As an HGV Technician you will be: Working as part of a team to maintain and build employee and customer relations to ensure the workshop operation achieved its objectives and targets Ensuring quality diagnostics and repairs according to repair orders Ensuring work is quality assured and in accordance with standards and literature Maintaining working capacity of machines and tools Striving to achieve Rectification Ratio Zero (right first time) Work closely with the VMU manager and communicate the number of parts and labour needed for additional repairs Record and report time spent on repair and maintenance Assure a clean and safe workshop at all times The successful HGV Technician will possess: City and Guilds or NVQ level 3 qualification is essential Experience within a fleet or commercial environment working on HGVs Practical understanding of using information technology and systems to deliver objectives Safety awareness and be committed to a right first-time ethos A flexible and can-do attitude with the ability to work in a team environment and on your own initiative HGV Class 1 Driving licence is preferred Experience with Tail lifts is desirable Working hours: 4on/4of days or 4on/4off nights This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV ..... full job details .....
