Our client is a well-known and reputable HGV fleet company with many depots nationwide. Currently they are looking for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic to join their busy depot.

As an HGV Technician you will be:Working as part of a team to maintain and build employee and customer relations to ensure the workshop operation achieved its objectives and targetsEnsuring quality diagnostics and repairs according to repair ordersEnsuring work is quality assured and in accordance with standards and literatureMaintaining working capacity of machines and toolsStriving to achieve Rectification Ratio Zero (right first time)Work closely with the VMU manager and communicate the number of parts and labour needed for additional repairsRecord and report time spent on repair and maintenanceAssure a clean and safe workshop at all timesThe successful HGV Technician will possess:City and Guilds or NVQ level 3 qualification is essentialExperience within a fleet or commercial environment working on HGVsPractical understanding of using information technology and systems to deliver objectivesSafety awareness and be committed to a right first-time ethosA flexible and can-do attitude with the ability to work in a team environment and on your own initiativeHGV Class 1 Driving licence is preferredExperience with Tail lifts is desirableWorking hours:4on/4of days or 4on/4off nightsThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic to join this successful business and progress within.
