Our client, a leader in the maritime sector, is currently seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to join their team in Belfast. This permanent position focuses on developing advanced energy solutions for the maritime industry.Key Responsibilities:Lead the development and uphold core systems engineering processes and capabilities within the business.Author, elicit, and manage accurate stakeholder requirements for Energy Solution products.Perform and coordinate analysis of system requirements, including Use Case analysis, functional analysis, robustness, and safety analysis.Liaise with technical specialists to deliver the architectural design of Energy Solution products, ensuring a robust system architecture that fulfils challenging stakeholder requirements.Produce and maintain traceable systems documentation such as User, Product, and System Requirements Specifications.Maintain and interact with Systems Models, ensuring systems artefacts are generated, controlled, and linked consistently across projects.Manage requirements through development and product lifecycle.Introduce new technology and methods to the business where appropriate.Job Requirements:Holder of a Bachelor''s degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Control Engineering).Experience in Systems Engineering functions with experience in electrification or e-mobility technology.Technical skills in Systems Engineering within robust development and process ..... full job details .....
