A pioneering maritime design and technology company dedicated to decarbonising the industry is currently looking to hire a Principal Control Systems Engineer (EV). The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle of control systems software, using MATLAB/Simulink. This includes requirements analysis, implementation and testing, performing system level simulations, and the analysis of vessel test data, to ensure requirements are being met. The Principal Control Systems Engineer (EV) will: Design, implement, and refine control system software while ensuring optimal performance. Configure automatic code generation from Simulink models and deploy it to target hardware for efficient system integration. Define and execute system performance simulations, support on-water test programs, and analyse vessel performance data. Ensure that all control system software meets regulatory standards and contribute to establishing best practices for software development.
