We are seeking 2 dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work closely with primary aged students who require additional support. The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting teachers in providing tailored support for students with SEND, ensuring they have the resources and guidance necessary to achieve their full potential. We have two active vacancies one in a welcoming and inclusive ASD primary school that values diversity and strives to provide the best educational experience for every student. They are dedicated to supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and are looking for a compassionate, committed, and skilled Teaching Assistant to join the team. The other role is within a mainstream primary school, in a specialist unit for learners with a range of SEND, from ASD to SEMH and MLD. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one or small group support for students with SEND in the classroom, predominantly ASD and MLD. Assist in the implementation of EHCPs alongside the class teacher and other professionals. Help students with specific learning needs, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development. Collaborate with teachers and other staff to monitor and assess student progress. Support students with personal care or mobility needs, as required.
