Key Responsibilities

  • Provide classroom support for pupils with a variety of special educational needs

  • Encourage communication, independence, and engagement in learning
  • Assist with behaviour support strategies and emotional regulation where required

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND is desirable
  • Patient, understanding, and resilient approach to supporting pupils
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Adaptable and confident responding to individual pupil needs
  • Committed to helping pupils achieve their personal and educational goals
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop professionally
