General Manager - Site Manager - Manufacturing - Metal - TimberBrooklyn Recruitment are currently working with a manufacturer / servicing company of saw blades and tooling who are looking for a General Manager / Site Manager. This company is based in the Brownhills area on the West Midlands / Staffordshire boarder. Although the site has a family feel to it, this company also has the backing of a larger group behind it.As General Manager / Site Manager you will be:Responsible for the sites Profit and Loss (PandL)Preparing and managing yearly budgetsEnsuring the site targets are metManage day-to-day operations Managing and monitoring the production and distribution of staffIdentifying any needs for new hires and recruitingRelationship building and negotiating with clientsEnsuring the site complies with all Health and Safety regulationsSupporting and ensuring all staff are trainedLiaising with the Operations DirectorAssisting other group sites with manufacturing needs when neededOther duties as requiredTo be suitable for this role of General Manager / Site Manager you should have previous management experience gained within a manufacturing company, ideally with a service element to it. You should have excellent IT skills to include Microsoft Excel, ERP systems and accounting software.
