ECandI DesignerDevonportPaying up to 50p/h (Inside IR35) Responsibilities:Review and interpret technical information and requirements.Understand and create technical drawings, specifications, and reports.Produce CAD models and engineering designs for parts, components, systems, and structures in line with recognised standards and to the required time, cost, and quality requirements.Develop innovative design solutions with robust engineering substantiation.Undertake routine calculations (relevant to design specialisation).Use appropriate tools and techniques (including engineering judgement) to make informed design decisions.Provide solutions to manufacturing and installation issues by assisting in the resolution of technical and production queries.Liaise with design and engineering colleagues (and other appropriate stakeholders) across the GEPL to ensure coordination and functionality of design.Interface with customers and supply chain on design issues and assist with procurement specifications.Apply configuration management (including change control) processes to design outputs as well as legacy ?datum-pack? technical information.Prepare, produce, and maintain project technical informationSupport the application of technical governance through rigorous checking of design outputs as well as assist in the preparation and presentation of relevant assurance evidence at design reviews.Assist more senior designers in a range of activities including the production of estimates, as ..... full job details .....
