They provide support for children and young people with significant disability and complex health needs aged 0 to 18 years, and provides a service to Early Years children, mainstream schools and special schools to support children and young people who have significant functional difficultiesKey Responsibilities:Carry a specialist caseload of children and young people with a variety of complex physical, learning and social needs and be responsible for writing reports for EHCP and MDT assessments/reviews.Work in a range of settings as an autonomous practitioner, providing high quality paediatric occupational therapy to support children and young people with disabilities to achieve their potential.Contribute to the supervision of students on clinical placement and support workers who are working with children and young people on your caseload.Requirements:Degree or Diploma level qualification in Occupational Therapy.Professional registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).Working knowledge of child development, neuro-development and childhood ..... full job details .....
