Support Worker - Safe House for Male Survivors of Human Trafficking and Modern SlaveryLocation: Newcastle City CentreHours: Full-time (1 weekend in 3) Rate: £13-£17 per hour (depending on pay status)Start Date: ASAP Potential for Temp-to-Perm Why This Role?This is more than just a job it s an opportunity to provide life-changing support to survivors of human trafficking and modern slavery, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity and hope. You ll be part of a specialist team offering emotional, practical, and advocacy support, ensuring clients feel safe, empowered, and supported on their journey to independence. What You ll Be Doing:- Providing one-to-one support within a safe house setting- Managing a caseload and guiding clients through the Criminal Justice System- Assisting with asylum and residency applications, liaising with the Home Office and Immigration services- Supporting clients with housing, benefits, mental health, training, and community integration- Helping survivors secure financial stability, access healthcare, and reintegrate into society- Working closely with external agencies to ensure clients receive holistic, trauma-informed support What We re Looking For:Experience supporting vulnerable individuals (ideally survivors of abuse, trafficking, homelessness, mental health, or refugees)Knowledge of risk assessments, support planning, safeguarding, and housing/immigration servicesEnhanced DBS (issued in the last 12 months or registered on the Update ..... full job details .....
