The role involves designing and communicating complex pipelines to deliver SaaS capabilities to our customers, working with stakeholders including product managers, engineering leaders, and dev ops engineers.This role requires diagnosing and solving complex problems, providing authoritative technical recommendations, and contributing to company standards and procedures, including the IFS Technical Reference Architecture. The SPA also identifies new approaches to enhance and simplify the IFS suite and acts as an authority in technology areas.Responsibilities include:Providing technical leadership for software design and automated deployment pipelinesDesigning and implementing architecture runway with a hands-on approachSetting technical agendas in collaboration with engineering and product managementEnsuring maintainability, security, and performanceConducting peer reviews and ensuring quality standardsLiaising with stakeholders and contributing to product and service improvementsProviding multi-horizon technology thinking aligned with business needsQualifications and skills required:15+ years of experience in large-scale automated deployment pipelines and cloud architectureStrong cloud architecture, technical design, and programming skillsExperience in Application Security, Scalability, and PerformanceAbility to articulate technology vision clearly to technical and non-technical audiencesHands-on experience with Azure and other hyperscale clouds, CI/CD tools (Gitlab, Github, Tekton), GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Crossplane), databases (Oracle, MongoDB, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL), Kubernetes, and DockerKnowledge of cloud-native big data tools and data science frameworks is a plusExcellent communication and multi-tasking skills, with an innovative mindsetWe support flexible and hybrid work arrangements, fostering community, innovation, and belonging.
