The role is for a Principal Architectural Technologist or Principal Architectural Technician to work on existing and new projects within the industrial, interiors, and healthcare sectors.What does the role entail?Project running possibly in multiple sectors.Working individually and with colleagues to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.Working with clients and other consultants to manage workload, outputs and project milestones.The production of feasibility and construction stage drawings, mainly in Revit, but occasionally in AutoCAD.Working in small project-based teams within the office and digitally across offices. The role may also require visits to our other offices in Leicester, Birmingham, Solihull and Leeds.Visiting site and external organisations’ offices for Design Team Meetings, site reviews, snagging and client and/or contractor meetings.What Skills and Experience do I need to have?Significant job running experience, preferably across multiple sectors.Proven use of Revit on construction projects and a good understanding of the software.Preferably experience of working on projects in the industrial and/or healthcare sectors.Self-motivation and the ability to also work independently.An openness to take constructive feedback, which will be given to assist in your development.Accountability for the information produced, ensuring it meets the required standards that the practice adheres to.Excellent written and oral communication skills.A good understanding of construction and technical detailing to produce clear and well-structured drawings.A personable manner with the ability to represent the practice on site and at meetings with multiple third parties.Who will I be working for?Founded in 1970, Stephen George + Partners LLP is one of the UK’s leading architectural practices with offices in London, Leicester, Leeds, Birmingham, and Solihull.
