Westcoast LimitedThis is a full-time role based in our main office in Theale (near Reading), in close walking distance from Theale train station.Our Credit Control team work with our customers to minimise all slow and bad debt, taking an approach that secures the payment of accounts without impacting the relationship that Westcoast has with the customer. You will work to identify and collect overdue and falling due debts, working towards cash and DSO targets set by the Credit Control Manager.Overview

Identify and collect overdue debts and debts falling due and ensure, where appropriate, that future payments are made to terms.Identify, document and progress to completion all customer queries.Process credit stopped orders.To maximise sales whilst ensuring that there is no exposure to the company on uninsured debt.To ensure all problems and opportunities for customers are resolved effectively and to agreed parameters.Assist the Credit Control Administrator / Cashier to maintain the sales ledger effectively.Monitor the payment performance of existing customers and advise the Manager of cases where payment performance has significantly deteriorated, and all information relating to insolvency difficulties.Qualifications
Previous experience within a Credit Control role is preferredTakes a customer-focused approachMethodical and applies logic to tasks and decision makingWorks effectively under pressure – maintaining exceptional levels of attention to detailAbility to adapt to changing situations with confidence and professionalismAble to work well within a small team and takes a flexible and collaborative approach to tasksAn excellent communicator, internally and externally at all levelsWell organised and capable of managing your time and prioritising a busy workloadA confident user of ExcelWhat we offer
