This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment, working within a close-knit team where you will play a key role in the day-to-day running and development of the finance function.Your new roleIn your new role as Accounts Assistant, you will have responsibility across transactional finance and month-end processes. Duties will include managing bank reconciliations, processing sales ledger postings across multiple payment platforms, and carrying out regular reconciliations across various sales channels and courier accounts. You will support weekly cashflow reporting, oversee payment runs, and ensure the accuracy of remittances from third-party platforms. Additional responsibilities will include monitoring refunds and resends, assisting with payroll collation, and supporting stock-related processes including valuation, amortisation, and reconciliation.What you''ll need to succeedTo be successful for this role, you will have previous experience in a similar accounts role. You will have strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively. A proactive and adaptable approach is key, along with strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Experience with Excel and knowledge of ERP systems would be advantageous.
