The role involves responding to reactive and planned maintenance tasks in a mobile capacity, ensuring all systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations and standards.With a focus on fault diagnosis and problem-solving, the Gas Engineer aims to minimise downtime, maintain high client satisfaction, and ensure the quality and reliability of building services.The role requires a commitment to health and safety, technical excellence, and a proactive approach to service delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform commercial combustion, heating, and HVAC PPM, reactive and proactive maintenance within SLAHandle additional building services maintenance including HVAC, mechanical, and fabric tasksParticipate in callout rota as per client requirementsMaintain cleanliness in plant rooms, workshops, and storage areasCarry out heating system installations and repairs, including basic electrical fault findingOversee and monitor contractors, issuing Permits to Work to ensure standards are metEnsure heating equipment performs to required specifications and meets site standardsRepresent the company professionally to maintain high customer satisfactionProfessional and Personal Competencies/QualificationsNVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or similarGas Safe Registered, Full UK Driving LicenceProven experience in commercial FM/building servicesThe CompanyISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
