Group Quality ManagerWorking within a specialist EDM, machining and grinding operation in the West Midlands, our firmly established client is seeking an experienced Group Quality Manager (with HSE awareness) to support their ongoing manufacturing growth activity within the global aerospace and industrial sectors.Based primarily at their site near Wolverhampton, but having close working activity with the Group sister site near Halesowen, this role will report to the Group Operations Director and key responsibilities will include:- Manage all Quality compliance requirements and market relevant risks/opportunities- Track external developments specific to the UK and US/global aerospace sectors which may affect the business operation- Support manufacturing, product development, supply chain, logistics and sales/marketing activities- Manage the QMS- Complete problem analysis, process analysis, the identification of process improvements and the implementation of preventive actions alongside the existing quality inspection teams- Actively manage and develop Quality focussed groups within the company as required- Manage/develop a structured performance assessment process for systems, process and products- Identify opportunities for improvements relating to Quality- Assist in the evaluation of non-conformances relating to product, process and business systems with recommendations for solution- Preparation and write Quality reports- Liaise with external parties, i.e. customers, ..... full job details .....
