Group Quality and HSE ManagerWorking within a specialist EDM, machining and grinding operation in the West Midlands, our firmly established client is seeking an experienced Group Quality and HSE Manager to support their ongoing manufacturing growth activity within the global aerospace and industrial sectors.Based primarily at their site near Wolverhampton, but having close working activity with the Group sister site near Halesowen, this role will report to the Group Operations Director and key responsibilities will include: Manage all QHSE compliance requirements and market relevant risks/opportunitiesTrack external developments specific to the UK and US/global aerospace sectors which may affect the business operationSupport manufacturing, product development, supply chain, logistics and sales/marketing activitiesManage the QMSComplete problem analysis, process analysis, the identification of process improvements and the implementation of preventive actions alongside the existing quality inspection teamsActively manage and develop QHSE focussed groups within the company as requiredManage/develop a structured performance assessment process for systems, process and productsIdentify opportunities for improvements relating to QHSEAssist in the evaluation of non-conformances relating to product, process and business systems with recommendations for solutionPreparation and write QHSE reportsLiaise with external parties, i.e. customers, accreditation bodies, suppliers on matters ..... full job details .....
