Overview
Our client is a Global Broking firm. They are looking for a Qualified ACA / CIMA / ACCA Accountant (at least 2 years post-qualification) to join a team of 5 in London to focus on delivering value to the business in analysis of trends within the Group reporting function. This would suit a hands-on individual who is happy to get involved and add value to the role. The position is hybrid - team typically do Tue/Wed/Thu in the office and other days from home.Role details

Preparation of monthly accounts for group reporting – full Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet reviewOverseeing preparation of annual statutory accounts for UK subsidiariesQuarterly regulatory reporting to FCA, MAS and NFAPreparation of monthly draft tax computation for UK subsidiariesLiaise with auditors and preparation of schedules for auditorsMonitoring and developing internal controls and systemsInvestigate / problem-solve ad hoc queries from UK and overseas entitiesIdentify and support continuous changes and improvements within the businessMonthly invoicing of clients across a range of product linesAnalysing and interpreting reports relative to budgets / comparativesReporting and discussing variance analysis / trends with senior group accounting staffTightly managing departmental budgets in relation to projects and procurement spendLiaising with heads of departments to review spend compared to budget / forecastCapturing and developing new reporting concepts to aid business decisionsMonthly software capitalisation reviews
