Supply Desk is recruiting on behalf of several secondary schools across the Brighton area looking for experienced and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to provide essential classroom management and support during teacher absences.

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee whole classes, ensuring students stay on task and engaged during lessons when their usual teacher is absent. You will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage classes in the teacherandrsquo;s absence
• Deliver pre-prepared work and ensure students stay focused
• Support students to maintain good behaviour and respect school rules
• Report any issues or concerns to teaching staff and school leadership
• Assist with general classroom tasks as required

What Weandrsquo;re Looking For:

• Experience working with secondary school students
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Confidence managing whole classes
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
• Ability to follow lesson plans and school policies
• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant is desirable
