We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school in Brighton for a General Cover Supervisor to provide high-quality cover and support for Key Stage 4 students. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with young people, has strong classroom management skills, and wants to support studentsandrsquo; learning during short-term staff absences.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Supervising whole classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged and on task

• 
  

  Delivering pre-prepared work and maintaining a positive learning environment

• 
  

  Supporting student behavior and wellbeing to promote a safe and respectful atmosphere

• 
  

  Reporting on student progress and any issues to the schoolandrsquo;s teaching staff

• 
  

  Adhering to school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times

What weandrsquo;re looking for:

• 
  

  Experience working in a school or educational setting, ideally with KS4 students (Years 10-11)

• 
  

  Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• 
  

  Ability to motivate and engage students across a range of subjects

• 
  

  Professional, dependable, and adaptable approach

• 
  

  DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one promptly
