About The Ned:The Ned and Neds Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.

The Ned launched in 2017 in the heart of the City, in the former Midland Bank headquarters. The Ned City of London houses Neds Club - a private members space, gym and rooftop - alongside a public spa, a full floor of events spaces, ten restaurants and bars and 250 hotel bedrooms.

As part of our kitchen teams and reporting to the kitchen leadership team, you will:Prep the food and ingredients our chefs need to smoothly cook and serve amazing quality foodOccasionally work alongside the other chefs on the sections, directly preparing food ready for service to guestsMaintain a safe and clean kitchen environment, protecting our guests and your teammates from any possible harmOur service flows straight from breakfast, to lunch, into dinner so you will need to keep your kitchen clean, tidy, well presented, and ready to hand over to the next team of chefsYou may also support the next team of chefs by helping to prep for the next serviceOur kitchens all operate different hours, so we can usually accommodate your preferred shift patterns

but as always a degree of flexibility is required in hospitality

What you can bring to the role:Previous kitchen experience is an advantage, but not essential. This is an entry level role and we will happily look after and train people with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learnOur customers and guests expect the best, so high standards are essentialOur kitchens can be high pressure so a calm demeanour and a genuine passion for providing guests with exceptional food is essentialIdeally this role is a stepping stone into a Chef De Partie role, so a desire to learn and progress is preferred, but not essential
