Office and Finance Manager
Full-Time Permanent (Potential for 4 day working) We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Office and Finance Manager to join our growing engineering business. This is a key position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial management of the company while ensuring smooth office operations, compliance, and administrative support across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional who enjoys a varied role and takes pride in maintaining accurate financial processes and efficient business systems. Key Responsibilities Finance and Accounts Manage banking, cashflow monitoring, and monthly PandL reporting Perform account reconciliations and support year-end accounting processes Oversee invoicing/applications, supplier payments, and retention management Compliance and Tax Prepare and submit CIS and VAT returns to HM Revenue and Customs Ensure financial records and reporting remain compliant and accurate Payroll and Subcontractors Process payroll and pension contributions (including NEST) Manage subcontractor payments and financial processing via Sage Office and Business Administration Support recruitment administration and prepare employment contracts Coordinate company insurance renewals and fleet management Maintain industry accreditations including CHAS, SafeContractor, Constructionline, and Avetta About You You will be a reliable and detail-focused professional who enjoys managing multiple responsibilities and ..... full job details .....
