We are working with a forward-thinking Alternative Provision programme to find an outstanding teacher to deliver tailored learning to KS3 and KS4 pupils who require a nurturing, flexible approach to education. This is a rare and rewarding opportunity to work closely with young people who need support to re-engage with learning and to do it with a small, supportive team behind you. The Role: Deliver Maths and English interventions to small groups (max 5 pupils) Oversee wider curriculum topics (creative, life skills, project-based learning) Adapt teaching to pupils working below expected levels Use assessment tools (e.g. Salford Reading Test) to plan meaningful learning Support social-emotional learning and build trusted relationships For KS4, guide pupils through AQA Functional Skills qualifications What s in Place: Behaviour support specialists working with each group Access to engaging reading and literacy programmes A collaborative, understanding team ready to support you A creative, non-mainstream setting where you can truly make a difference We re Looking For: A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) OR experienced educator with a strong track record Someone who s confident teaching both Maths and English at a functional level ..... full job details .....
