We are looking for a Mentor to work with a young person currently transitioning into Year 10, who is seeking a positive and nurturing adult relationship to help build confidence and explore their interests.About the Young Person:Transitioning into Year 10Has an EHCP in placeFantastic sense of humour and loves jokesEnjoys cooking, skateboarding, and DJingLooking to build confidence and engage in meaningful, enjoyable activitiesAvailable for mentoring 4 days a week, with flexible timing (mornings or afternoons)As a Mentor, you will:Provide 1:1 mentoring support for 10 hours per week (with potential to increase to 15 hours)Build a trusting, consistent relationship with the young personPlan and participate in interest-led activities such as cooking sessions, skateboarding outings, or music-related experiencesSupport the young person''s social and emotional developmentDrive the young person to and from activities as neededAbout you:Experience working with young people, especially those with ADHD, ASD, or additional needsA calm, patient, and creative approachStrong communication and relationship-building skillsA full UK driving licence and access to a vehicleEnhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)Position - MentorContract or position start date - ASAPContract or position end date (if applicable) - N/AFull time/part-time - Dependent on candidate availability.Hours - 10 overall- ..... full job details .....
