Established in 1991, we have been serving families in the leafy suburbs of Wanstead, North East London, for over three decades with a strong reputation for excellence in early years education.
We are now seeking a highly organised and proactive HR Administrator to support our growing team. This is a full time role working 40 hours a week. Purpose of the Role
To provide administrative, analytical and coordination support across the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on recruitment, onboarding, compliance, people data and HR systems. You will play a vital role in improving staff experience, optimising internal processes, and helping Treehouse make informed decisions through accurate data insights.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Talent Onboarding
- Support the recruitment manager in recruitment activities, including job adverts, applicant screening, interview coordination and shortlisting.
- Ensure candidates are fully vetted and compliant (references, DBS, right to work, qualifications).
- Deliver a seamless onboarding experience, supporting new starters and ensuring systems are fully updated.
- Ensure all candidate interactions reflect Treehouse’s warm, professional and inclusive ethos.
HR Administration, Systems and Compliance
- Maintain accurate records across systems including CRM’s.
- Produce reports and dashboards to track recruitment activity, training compliance, onboarding status and attrition.
- Use Excel and digital tools to analyse people data, spot trends and support strategic planning.
Systems Coordination and Payroll Support
- Liaise with payroll and finance teams to ensure accurate processing of starters, leavers and changes.
- Manage the time and attendance entries and ensure all data is accurate in readiness for payroll.
We are looking for someone with;
- Proven HR or recruitment administration experience, ideally within education or multi-site organisations.
- Advanced Excel Skills - Confident with formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables and data visualisation.
- Strong use of HRIS platforms
- Comfortable learning and managing multiple digital systems and tools.
- Detail-oriented and highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple streams of work.
- Excellent communication skills and a helpful, people-first attitude.
Do you hold?
- Knowledge of safer recruitment in education or early years settings.
- CIPD Level 5 (or working towards).
- Experience working with automated workflows, HR reporting or integrations between systems.
- Exposure to payroll or HR analytics.
