An exciting and growing company based in Colchester is looking to appoint an experienced ERP Application Support Analyst to join its expanding IT team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business offering a flexible hybrid working model, with two days per week working from home. The successful candidate will support and develop ERP systems across the group, working on a range of impactful projects that improve business processes and drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support and development for the business''s ERP systems
• Collaborate with users to solve business problems and drive improvements
• Gather and document business requirements, translating them into specifications, test plans, and procedures
• Design and maintain BI reporting using ERP functionality, Crystal Reports, Excel, Power BI, etc.
• Ensure ERP security and user profiles are kept up to date
• Perform Oracle and SQL database administration, including background jobs, releases, and restores
• Deliver helpful, customer-focused support to end-users
• Stay up to date with ERP developments to ensure the business gains maximum ROI
• Encourage simplification, standardisation, and innovation across ERP platforms

Required Skills & Experience:

• Solid experience supporting ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
• Proficient in SQL and Oracle database environments
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Office 365, Azure, or AWS
• Familiarity with ITIL service management practices
• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Skilled in reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, Power BI, and Excel is a bonus not essential
