Salary: andpound;33,075 andndash; andpound;50,471 (dependent on experience)
Are you passionate about making Maths meaningful, engaging, and accessible to all learners£ Supply Desk are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a forward-thinking and supportive secondary school in Chalfont this September.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a qualified teacher andndash; or someone with strong subject knowledge and a desire to train andndash; to help young people unlock their potential and build confidence in Mathematics.
Your Role Will Include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 teaching may be available, depending on experience)
- Inspiring a positive attitude towards learning, encouraging curiosity and independent thinking
- Assessing, tracking, and supporting pupilsandrsquo; progress to help every student achieve success
- Creating an inclusive classroom where all pupils feel supported and challenged
- Collaborating with colleagues to share ideas and enhance the Maths curriculum
- Playing an active role in the wider school community
What Weandrsquo;re Looking For:
- A qualified Maths Teacher (QTS or equivalent) andndash; though we also welcome applications from unqualified teachers who are passionate and ready to train
- Experience teaching at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is a bonus)
- Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies
- Excellent subject knowledge, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, team-focused, and adaptable mindset
