Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs, including those displaying challenging behaviour, anxiety, or trauma-related difficulties
• Help pupils develop emotional regulation, resilience, and positive social interactions
• Use structured routines, visual supports, and therapeutic strategies to maintain engagement and stability
• Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and external agencies to implement and review individual behaviour plans
• Foster a safe, trusting, and supportive atmosphere that promotes personal growth

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs and challenging behaviours (in educational or care settings)
• Skilled in de-escalation, emotion coaching, and restorative practices
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Committed to inclusive education and ongoing professional development
• Willing to undertake training in safeguarding, mental health, and trauma-informed approaches
