Senior Management Accountant
to join our team. As the Senior Management Accountant, you will lead the delivery ofaccurate monthly group management accounts and provide critical financialinsights to support our hotel management. You will be responsible for preparingfinancial statements, conducting variance analysis, and ensuring compliancewith our group’s accounting policies.Help to shape the MontcalmCollection’s next chapter and showcase your skills. Become a trusted ambassadorfor one of our hotels and take advantage of the opportunity to move betweenproperties, achieving the service and product delivery standards for thedepartment with a high degree of customer care and service.Key Responsibilities·Produce timely and accurate management accounts for allocated companies.·Conduct detailed reviews of performance metrics, collaborating with theoperational team to enhance financial results.·Ensure thorough checks of transactional bookkeeping and compliance withnominal accounting standards.·Maintain up-to-datereconciliations and assist in closing month-end reports.·Drive financial strategy andplanning, aligning with overall business objectives.·Compile annual budgets andforecasts in collaboration with the Finance Manager and Director.·Prepare monthly cash forecastsand key balance sheet reconciliations.·Mentor and manage the accounting assistants, fostering a culture ofcontinuous improvement and best practices.Essential Qualifications·Brand experience, preferably withMarriott, is essential for this role.·Part/Fully Qualified CIMA or ACCA·Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel·Experience with Sage Intact or Opera PMS systems·Strong balance sheet knowledge·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills·Strong analytical capabilities and initiative·Ability to work independentlywith minimal supervision.·Collaborative and empoweringteam dynamics.·Pathways for promotions and growthwithin the brand.·Recognition and RewardsProgram.·Access to an array ofdiscounts via our Benefits Platform.·Comprehensive training throughCertified Classroom and E-Learnings.·28 holidays annually,inclusive of 8 bank holidays.
