We are looking for a Band 7 Business Operations Lead to join the Business Management Team within our Specialist Adult Support Services (SASS) division. In this role, you will be working across the entirety of the SASS division as a key member of the wider Business Management Team; assisting the Business Manager, Associate Director and Specialist Services Managers to drive and successfully deliver the following:Service and quality improvement within SASS services by leading and contributing to audits, reviews and improvement projects.Management and monitoring all areas of contract compliance and performance reporting through understanding, operating and overseeing the use of a range of systems and processes that help the division to achieve its priorities.Work closely with services where required to support the achievement of contractual and quality outcomes (this role will initially focus on supporting one of our Specialist Services through a period of transformation).Lead and manage the effective introduction of equitable and consistent changes within services, ensuring benefits are realised and captured.Contribute to and deploy robust systems and processes to improve contract performance and smooth operational running, ensuring that there is consistency across all SASS services.Support the provision overall strategic management, business planning and development.Contribute to the management and development of the Business Management team and administrative staff across SASS to provide resilience and consistency of services on a day-to-day basis, whilst ensuring long-term sustainability and development of services and consistency across the partnership.You will

Use a variety of management techniques to influence, help shape culture and enable the development of services/staff through training and coaching to achieve good outcomes.Work directly and harmoniously with other colleagues such as SASS Managers / Clinical Leads, Business Partners, Operational Service Leads, and Corporate Services to develop and monitor service delivery, finance and performance across all services and geographies.Develop excellent working relationships at all levels across BNSSG SASS services; including operational services.Ever dreamt about a career that sparks excitement and fosters your professional growth? Lead and oversee day-to-day operations and long-term change initiatives, ensuring efficiency and ongoing improvement.Lead the development and implementation of a council-wide Data Strategy harnessing current and emerging technologies.Collaborate with key stakeholders (including Group Strategy and Development, Finance, Business, and Procurement) to deliver improvements.Requirements

Familiarity with strong change management processes and ability to lead on system upgrades and new developments.
