Blue Arrow is Recruiting for a Permanent Sous Chef for their client in Carnoustie on a permanent basis. Salary: 36,000 Location: Carnoustie Hours of work: 40 Hours Per Week Job Duties: Working closely with the Head Chef to deliver a consistent food offeringAssisting the Head Chef in menu and dish developmentRunning the kitchen in the Head Chef''s absence / leading shift operationsMaintaining high culinary standardsManaging food purchasing and storageManaging a safe and hygienic operating environmentPlaying an essential role in a team that will put the Restaurant on the local food map, whilst adding to the course''s already brilliant facilities.Ensuring compliance with food hygiene and health and safety legislation at all timesUndertake operational duties as required to support the business Required Skills First rate cooking skills with proven higher end restaurant experienceHave flair and be passionate about what you doThe ability to lead, manage and motivate the chef brigade whilst also being a great team playerHave a comprehensive understanding of food costs and the impact on profit marginsCan maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all back of house catering areas, and to act when improvements are required (e.g. cleaning, statutory documentation) If interested apply today and we will be in touch to discuss your application.Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great ..... full job details .....
