Electrical Project Manager

Location: Ayrshire, Scotland
Salary: -55,000 - -65,000 (depending on experience)

A leading building services contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of mechanical and electrical (M&E) projects across Scotland. This role will focus on managing electrical packages within a variety of sectors including residential, commercial, healthcare, and education developments.

You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards, while supporting the transition to energy-efficient and low-carbon building solutions.

• Manage electrical projects from initial planning through to completion
• Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resources
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Provide technical guidance on electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and renewable integration
• Support the implementation of energy-efficient and sustainable solutions

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the construction or building services sector
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and M&E installations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. HNC/HND, SVQ, or equivalent)
• SMSTS or equivalent health & safety certification (preferred)
