Our Dorset based construction client is seeking a bright, enthusiastic, proactive and highly organised NEC qualified Quantity Surveyor to join their friendly team with full support.

The ideal candidate will need to come from a contractor background and take commercial responsibility of a number of NEC projects varying in value from £500,000 to over £5 million dealing with mainly Tier 1 contractors, projects are dotted around the south coast, home counties and London regions and are diversified ranging from MOD projects to data centres and HS2.
 

Key responsibilities:
- Preparing Tender and Contract documents
- Preparing Bills of Quantities
- Risk Management and Cost Control
- Sub Contractor Work Allocation
- Preparing Accurate Progress Reports
- Completed Work Valuations and Payments

Key Experience and Requirements:
- Ideally a minimum 5-7 years Quantity Surveying experience
- You will have experience of previously working within the same or similar role
- Degree qualified (or moving towards professional membership) is preferable but not essential
- NEC working experience will be a distinct advantage
