Residential Support Worker (Children''s Home)

Salary - Circa £34,000 including sleep-in allowance (£70.47 per sleep-in with an average of 11 per month) Benefits Include: Competitive pay and sleep-in allowance Enhanced overtime rate of time and a third Access to employee wellbeing programme 28 days annual leave entitlement, rising to 33 days with 5 years service The main duties of this role include: To work as a member of the team to provide young people with a variety of activities, support, care and guidance using a positive parenting model To follow guidance from the Team Leader and other senior colleagues to ensure the smooth day to day running of the home providing structure and appropriate boundaries for the young people in our care To have a flexible approach to shift patterns which may sometimes require changes to rota at short notice To ensure that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and procedures To undertake an in-depth quality and bespoke training package To act as an advocate for the young person whilst using a positive parenting model To attend staff meetings and be proactive in developing and improving the service model What we offer: Continuous training and professional development Career development Generous sleep-in rate of £70.47 per night (average 11 per month) What we are looking for: Someone with the passion to work with our young people and provide them with a positive parenting model Someone who can help create a real family environment for our young people Someone ..... full job details .....
