This is a pivotal role within the finance function, reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, and offering exposure across group financial reporting, statutory accounts, and management accounts. This opportunity would suit a technically strong, qualified accountant who enjoys working autonomously, values accuracy and attention to detail, and wants to play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making across a growing group of companies. The Role As Group Financial Accountant, you will manage and consolidate the financial reporting of the group, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and accounting standards (UK GAAP / IFRS). Key responsibilities include: Assist the Group Financial Controller with the consolidation of annual statutory accounts, including intercompany eliminations, adjustments, and supporting schedulesEnsure accounting policies are applied correctly and in line with UK GAAP, monitoring and implementing changes as requiredSupport external audits and respond to audit queriesPrepare statutory accounts for non-audit trading companies and ensure dormant accounts are filed on timeAssist in calculations for business combinations and goodwill on acquisitionsProduce monthly management accounts for the holding companies and ..... full job details .....
