About the Job This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Financial Accountant to join a busy finance team. The role will suit an experienced professional who is comfortable working independently while contributing to wider team objectives. Duties will include: Preparing and submitting VAT returns in line with current regulations Managing Postponed VAT Accounting (PVA) Completing annual P11D submissions Posting and reconciling prepayments, accruals and expense journals Maintaining the fixed asset register Processing accrual imports and general ledger journals Performing detailed balance sheet reconciliations Assisting with month-end and year-end close procedures Using Sage extensively for financial reporting and transactional processing About the Successful Applicant The successful candidate will have at least three years of experience in a similar Financial Accountant position, with strong technical VAT knowledge including PVA.
