The role combines personal and corporate tax knowledge to provide a bespoke tax service for a varied client base. They will allow you to lead on complex projects, manage and develop your team in a pro-active approach tailored to their needs, and help shape the strategic direction of the tax function.Reviewing and completing complex personal tax returnsManaging P11Ds and advising clients on a range of tax mattersLeading and mentoring junior staff, reviewing their work and supporting their developmentOwning client relationships, attending meetings and offering strategic adviceWorking on succession planning, corporate restructuring, and advisory projectsDealing with HMRC tax enquiriesContributing to monthly management meetings and driving continuous improvementYou will need to possess:CTA qualified (or equivalent) with strong post-qualification experienceProven experience managing a private client portfolio in practiceStrong personal tax knowledge and a solid understanding of CT and IHTStrategic advisory experience (IHT, CGT, succession planning, etc.)Experience advising OMBs and high-net-worth individualsLeadership experience with a track record of developing and supporting a teamA client-focused approach and excellent communication skillsIn return you can expect5% profit share bonus (paid in the last three years)Opportunity to share in the equity of the business through our growth share planEarly Friday finishesCompetitive annual leaveThis is a four-day office-based role with reduced Friday hours
